On the last weekend before summer - at the pinnacle of National Skin Cancer Action Week, Skin Check Champions, is honoured to welcome contemporary artist Spencer Tunick back to Australia.
Known for his large scale installation photography set amongst city & natural landscapes, Spencer Tunick has built a career using skin as his palette. This time, he's using his work to save it...
Each of you will represent one of the 2,500+ Aussies who are tragically killed by skin cancer every year. A statistic we are determined to eliminate. If you know one of them, you'll have a chance to honour them as part of the sign up process.
As is custom for all his artworks, we will give the participants a limited edition print of the installation taken by Spencer. A noteworthy artwork and conversation starter for being part of something so unique.
Standing proud knowing that we will be the generation to stop the scourge of our 'national cancer'. Pledging to 'get a skin check', be more sun smart and inspire our friends / family to do the same.
A powerful, once in a lifetime opportunity to make skin cancer history.
