How it works

WE KNOW IT'S AN 'OUT THERE' CONCEPT, BUT THAT'S THE WHOLE IDEA RIGHT?

Inviting Aussies to do something that grabs attention and gets people talking (and most importantly) doing things which could not only save their lives, but the lives of those most at risk. Raising the profile of this important issue to make skin cancer history.

Create your profile or start a team. Then, share it with as many of your mates as possible to get them on board as sponsors or ambassadors. The more Aussies sign up, the more people we'll save from skin cancer.

STRIP OFF

We challenge you to do something brave and get your kit off for the cause (sun-safely and legally of course). Posting photos or videos doing whatever it is you love doing (in your undies / swimmers) to get people's attention.

SAVE LIVES

The idea is to flood social media with skin, especially during National Skin Cancer Action Week (21-27 of Nov). Encouraging people to donate to our national skin check program - Making skin cancer history.

FOR EXAMPLE

A few of our ambassadors flew over

to New Zealand in September to

help break a world record for skiing

and snowboarding in their swimmers.

Teasing the launch of the campaign

and our sexy new SOFSC Budgies.

& IF YOU ONLY STRIP OFF ONCE...

Do it during 'National Skin Cancer Action Week'.

This (relatively unknown) item on our healthcare calendars runs from the 21st until the 27th of November. The key word being ACTION, and this campaign gives every Aussie some really fun & practical things to do:

AKA: Stripping off for a Skin Check and stripping off to help raise funds and awareness to help other Aussies do the same.

While some of our ambassadors will be stripping of in the lead up to this week, we want ALL OF YOU to 'show some skin to save some skin' from the 21st - 27th of November. Especially on the last weekend before summer. When we have a really big event planned you all to take part in.

Creating nation wide 'skinspiration' to help elevate the issue of skin cancer into the public consciousness. Inspiring people to 'get a skin check', be more sun smart and raise funds for a national skin check program.
